Mark your calendars for Sunday May 22, 2022 . Eleven years since the debut of H8’s A DRAG: LOVE is Bully-Free in 2012, we will bring another season of support, education and understanding toward our deeply divided communities. This year’s theme, H8’s a DRAG: LOVE Unites will focus on unity and diversity in a post- pandemic post-truth world. We want to help create a future of unity and protection from harm, as hatred and divisiveness continues to threaten our queer spaces, our voices, and our lives. The current political climate erodes the rights of the vulnerable and continues to endanger the most fragile. This year we will bring back a few favorite Drag Entertainers for an evening of entertainment and philanthropy! We plan to welcome back our very own Saint, the Ebony Goddess Chyna ! Chyna has never missed one H8s a DRAG! In 2018, the audience was entertained by the bawdy banter of Miss ChiChi LaRue! In 2019, H8’s A DRAG took a 1-year hiatus to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in San Francisco, where it all began! Sadly the 1-year hiatus turned into 3 years as the COVID pandemic had other plans. This devastated our lives in so many ways especially for the marginalized. And here we are! We’re back in 2022 and so excited to announce the Nashville return of VARLA JEAN MERMAN ! We are thrilled that PLAY DANCE BAR is our official H8’s a DRAG Host again this year!
